Nick and Jenny have just left the house and are ready to start their journey.
They walk through the village and along the brooks and fields where they play at regularly. And soon they leave the village area.
For Nick, it still just feels like a normal hike. He's still familiar with the paths there. He could always go back to the village.
He didn't really realize it yet, but he probably won't come back in the near future.
Jenny is just happy. She just hopes, he won't back down. She hopes, their journey will go forever.
Outside the village, they walk through forests and hilly landscapes. After a while they start to get to places, they've never been to. Ocasionally they still see some crossroads, which look familiar from previous hikes, but soon everything is completely new to them.
There isn't much to see in the north of their village. There's only nature.
But it's already getting dark, so it's time to look for a place to sleep.
After crossing a bridge, there is a nice, flat area in a sparse forest. They put down their luggage and Jenny already starts to set up the tent. Nick has no experience with tents but he tries to help as good as he can.
When they're still busy, it already starts to rain.
Don't worry, the tent is waterproof. Let's get done quickly, so we can get in.
It doesn't take long until the tent is set up, so they enter it to be safe. They are already pretty wet, though.
Inside it's difficult to see anything, but Jenny uses a manually rechargeable lamp she has with her, so they can still see well nevertheless.
So Jenny just unpacks some comfortable replacement clothes for Nick and for herself. Then they start to undress.
You also have replacement underpants with you, right?
Yeah, so your underpants are wet, too, I guess?
Yeah.
Jenny gives Nick a pair of underpants and then takes one for herself.
I'll turn around, so I won't see you.
Good idea. I'll do the same.
Both turn away from each other, then get naked and put on the dry underpants.
I'm ready. Can I look again?
Yeah, I'm ready, too.
They turn back to each other and put on all the clothes.
After the rain, I still feel pretty cold. But the sleeping bags should help.
She puts out two sleeping bags. Jenny immediately gets into one.
Does it help?
Not sure. It probably takes some time.
Nick also gets into a sleeping bag. It's not too cold for him, but he still would prefer it warmer.
They keep lying there looking at each other.
It's still cold. Maybe I'm not as well prepared as I expected. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to-
Hey, calm down. Don't blame yourself already. I got an idea.
Nick opens the zipper of his sleeping bag and next he opens the zipper of hers.
Hey, what are you doing?
Nick connects the zippers of the sleeping bags to create one huge sleeping bag and gets into it, lying next to her.
I'm also not happy about this, but at least it should help us to stay warm.
Thanks, it's kind of nice. I didn't know this was even possible.
They start cuddling and soon they are comfortably warm. While listening to the rain, they quickly fall asleep.
Jenny and nick start their journey. When they set up their tent, it starts to rain, which forces them to undress in front of each other.
